The following information shall help you to familiarize yourself with all our facilities. Air conditioning: All guest rooms are fully air- conditioned for either warm or cold air depending on the season. Individual control enable guests to regulate temperature in their room. Windows must be properly closed to allow mechanism to function. The heating and cooling function is usually switched in October and March/ April the beginning of the official heating or cooling season, and they are turned off in April. Please check with our reception for further information.

 

Additional toiletries: We are happy to provide you with a dental set, ladies set, comb, sewing kit, shower cap, bath robes, shaving set, slippers, etc. These amenities are free of charge and are available at the reception desk 24 hours a day.

Baby cot: Baby cots are available free of charge through our

Housekeeping. Please, call the reception for information (dial: 1).

 

Babysitting: Babysitting by professional babysitters is available on demand and for an extra charge. Advance booking is required. Please, contact our reception for further information (dial: 1).

 

Bank,  ATM (cash machines): There are several ATM machines and banks nearby, the nearest is located approximately 2 min. from the hotel on the corner of Palotai street. (OTP Bank). For further information please contact the reception (dial: 1).

 

Bar: Our bar is located on the ground floor and is open 24 hours a day.

 

Bathrobe and  slippers: Bathrobe and slippers are provided

on a complimentary basis for our guests upon request. Please, contact the reception (dial: 1).

 

Bathroom chair:  For your convenience, we can provide a chair for your bathroom upon request. Please, contact the reception to have the chair delivered to your room (dial: 1).

Bicycle rental: There are several possibilities for bike tours in the area. Please contact the reception, if you wish to rent a bike or need information of routes (dial: 1).

 

 

Blanket: Please contact our reception to have a complimentary extra blanket sent to your room (dial: 1).

 

Breakfast: Start your day with a sumptuous buffet breakfast in our restaurant from 6.30 a.m. until 10.00 a.m. Should you wish to have breakfast in your room, please ask for the assistance of our reception or ask for breakfast order sheet at the reception. Please dial number 1.

We can deliver the breakfast between 6.30 a.m. and 10 a.m. upon your request. We charge an extra 1.000.-HUF service fee per order.

If you need to depart early, we are happy to offer you with a breakfast package for your journey. Which you can pick up at the agreed time at our reception.

 

Car charge: At our hotel you have the possibility to recharge your electric car. The charger is located on the side of the building. For assistance, please contact the reception desk.

 

Car rental: Should you wish to rent a car, please, kindly

contact our reception for further information.

 

Check-in/ Check-out: On the day of arrival we have your room prepared for you as of 2.00 p.m. On the day of departure we kindly ask you to vacate your room until 12.00 noon. If you require a late check-out, please contact the reception. An extra charge may occure, and the service is only provided upon availability.

 

Child  policy: children under the age of 12 sleep free of charge in one room with their parents. This is a worldwide Best Western standard for you!

 

Citmap:  The map of Székesfehérvár is available for you at our reception free of charge.

 

Cleaning the room: Our Housekeeping does the daily cleaning in the afternoon. Bed linen is changed twice a week, unless otherwise requested.

In order to protect the environment, towels are also changed twice a week. Should you wish to have your towels changed more frequently please leave them dropped on the bathroom floor. Should you leave your towels hanging in the bathroom, it means you do not wish to have them changed.

 

Clothing repairs: Repairs of clothing are available on demand for a charge. Please contact our reception for further information (dial: 1).

 

Coat hangers: Coat hangers can be found in your wardrobe. Should you require more than the amount provided, please, do not hesitate to contact the reception (dial: 1).

 

Coffee/ tea:  A coffee and tea maker & supplies are available free of charge in your room.

 

Concierge service: luggage storage, relevant informations about train and bus schedules, showing you the way, recommendations, etc. are available 24 hours at our reception desk.

 

Conference facilities: The total capacity of our conference facilities is up to 130 persons. All modern provisions like WIFI, video projector or wireless microphone installations can satisfy any convention, exhibition or business meeting requirements. Furthermore we offer you our 1.200 sqm sized sports and event hall, which can be used for sporting, teambuilding activities,

 

conferences or even gala dinners.

The size does not matter, our colleagues guarantee that your event will be successful. You will find our conference rooms on the ground floor and the event hall on the other side of the parking lot.

Credit cards: The following major credit cards are accepted: American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard Maestro card, Visa and Visa electron cards. Please, contact our reception for further information.

 

Dnot disturb: In case you do not wish to be disturbed, please hang your red ‘Do not disturbcard on your doorhandle.

If phone calls should not be passed to your room, please advise the Reception. It is part of our security policy not to give out any room numbers of our hotel guests.

 

Drinking water: The tap water is drinkable, although it might have some taste. Bottled still and sparkling water can be obtained from your minibar in your room.

 

Electricity: The voltage is 230V in Hungary. Please, contact our reception for adapters or converters.

 

Electric outlets: Most electric outlets in your room are off when your room key card is not inserted in the electricity control box. If you

would like to have an additional card so that you may charge any appliances please ask at reception.

The plugs marked with 24- hours are working without a key card to be in the holder.

Envelope and  stationery: For your personal stationary please contact our reception.

 

Express breakfast: If you need to depart early, we are happy to offer you with a breakfast package for your journey. Please notify us at latest until 09.00 p.m. so that you can pick it up at the agreed time at our reception.

 

Extra  blanket and  pillows: Please, contact our reception to have a complimentary extra blanket or pillow delivered to your room. You may also choose from our pillow menu in your room.

 

Fax: You can send fax at the reception for a charge. Please, contact the reception for further information. Should you wish to receive a fax, you may have it sent to the main fax number

of the hotel: +36 22 799 090.

 

Fire escape plan:  Please, read the instructions carefully and locate the emergency exits. In case of fire green lights on the corridors guide you to the exits. Should you see fire,

please, immediatly dial extension 1 for the reception! The fire extinguishers and fire alarms are well marked in red. Do not use the elevators! The staircase leads you to the ground floor of the hotel.

 

First-aid kit: Including plasters, antiseptic. If you need the first- aid kit, please contact the reception desk. The hotel cannot provide medicine due to legal regulations.

 

Fitness room: Located on the 1st floor. This is for our guests only. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Flowers: Please contact the reception should you need a flower bouquet (dial:1).

 

Hair dryer:  All rooms are equipped with hair dryers in the bathrooms.

Internet: wireless HSIA is available in all rooms and in the Lobby. You may access this service by connecting your laptop and accessing the internet with the use of your browser.

Our internet PC terminal is located on the ground floor and is also complimentary to our guests. In case you need assistance, please contact our reception.

 

Information: Brochures and information materials about the city of Budapest and its surroundings are available at our reception.

 

Ironing and  ironing board: Please contact the reception in order to request iron and ironing board. Our staff prepares these items into your room upon request until 10 pm. It is also possible to have those items afterwards on the ground floor.

 

Keys: Please leave your keycards at the reception upon checkout. Should you lose a keycard, you will be charged an amount of 6 EUR.

 

Laundry services: Laundry and ironing services are available on demand and for a charge. The pricelist is on the table in

the brouchure holder. Please, contact our reception for further information.

Your laundry bag is placed in the wardrobe, please leave it at the Reception or dial 1 to have it picked up from your room. Laundry service ordered before 9 am are prepared for the same day until 9 pm. Laundry services requested after 9 am will be prepared the next day. (Example: laundry service ordered on Monday 09:10 – will be ready on Tuesday till 9:00 a.m.)

 

Lost and  found: Please contact the reception to assist you. Lost and found articles, except for perishable items, are kept for six months.

 

Luggage assistance and  storage: The hotel provides assistance with luggage free of charge for individual guests upon avalability. Our reception also provides complimentary luggage storage services on demand.

Luggage delivery: For more information, please contact the reception (dial:1).

 

Maintenance: Should you find any equipment in your room

to be out of order ol malfunctioning, please kindly inform the reception (dial: 1).

 

Massage: Different sorts of massages can be booked in our hotel from external providers. Please, make your appointment at the reception.

 

Message: Messages will be delivered directly to your room. For all your incoming messages, while you wish to be undisturbed, we leave a note on your door asking to contact the reception to pick up your message whenever it is suitable for you.

 

Medical assistance: Please, contact our reception. (dial: 1).

 

Mineral  water: Mineral water is available in your minibar  upon arrival, still or sparkling. If you need some extra water, we will be happy to serv you in your room or at the bar. Please dial 1. -

 

Mobile phones: Mobile telephones can be used throughout the hotel, although kindly refrain from usage in the restaurant and common areas. For the well-being of our guests we trust on your kind understanding that the ringing tone has to be kept on a low level in the breakfast room, restaurant and inside the hotel.

If you wish to charge your telephone in the room, please note that it is only possible while the key card is inserted in the white electricity box next to the room door. Please contact the reception for mobile phone chargers, if you have forgotten to bring yours.

 

Money exchange: EUR and HUF (Hungarian Forint) cash payment at the reception is accepted, however money exchange in the hotel is not possible. The reception may advise you of the nearby banks, exchange offices and their opening hours.

 

Newspapers, magazines: Complimentary newspapers and magazines are available at the lobby.

 

Parking: There is the hotels own parking lot around the hotel free of charge to all our guests.

 

Payment: Our hotel accepts cash pament in Hungarian Forints (HUF) or Euro (EUR). The following major credit or debit cards are accepted: American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard Maestro card, Visa and Visa electron cards. Please, contact our reception for further information. Also available is the payment with SP cards provided by OTP, MBH and K&H.

 

Petrol station: There are several petrol stations near the centre

of the town within 5 Minutes by car. Please contact the reception for directions.

 

Pets: Our hotel is pet friendly, but charges do apply for the extra cleaning costs. If you have your loved one in the room, please hang the doghanger to your rooms door handle. If you are on a walk with him, please also notify our housekeeping, so we can clean your room on a daily basis.

 

Pharmacy, medical assistance: Please, contact our reception (dial:1). The nearest pharmacy is within 10 Minutes walking distance.

 

Photocopying: Photocopying is available at the reception for a charge. Please, contact our reception for further information and rates.

 

Pillow: Please, contact our reception to have a complimentary extra pillow delivered to your room (dial: 1). Please see the QR code on the TV to choose from the pillow menu.

 

Post office: The closest post office is located 7 minutes from the hotel. If you wish to send mail, please hand it on to the reception and we will handle it for you.

 

Public phone: Telephone calls can be initiated from our reception. Please, contact the reception for further information and rates.

 

Radio: You will find some radio channels through your TV. Please see for further the TV channel list.

 

Reception: Our reception team is at your kind disposal 24 hours every day of the week either in person or via house phone on extension 1.

 

Restaurant: Our restaurant, the ’Grafit Bistro & Restaurant is located on the ground floor. Opening hours 6.30 a.m. and 09.30 pm. For more information, please see attached menus on the TV screen.

 

Room reservations: Should you wish to book a room for your upcoming visit, please, contact our Reception. Should you plan to visit our hotel more frequently please request information about our loyalty programme.

 

Room service: In our hotel our colleagues are at your service between 06:00-22:00 hours, if you wish to consume your meal and drink  in your room. During the night there are sandwiches available at the Reception.

In case of room service we charge an extra service fee of 1.000.-HUF.

Room to room callFor calling from one room to another please dial the 3 digits of the desired room number. If you wish to be transferred by the reception, please dial 1.

 

Safe and  responsibility: Please, keep your valuables in the room safe or at our reception. The hotel does not take any responsibility for valuables not being kept in safes. Please find the description about the use of the safe in the wardrobe next to the safe. There is a central safe at your disposal at the reception as well.

 

Sauna: The sauna is located on the first floor, opposite to the elevator. As the sauna requires 30 minutes to heat up, please ask for the help of our receptionist at least 30 minutes prior to the intended usage.

 

Sewing kit: A sewing kit is available upon request and free of charge at our reception.

 

Shoe shining: Shoe shining sponges are available in you room or at the reception free of charge. Shoe shining mashine is available on the ground floor, left from the elevator.

 

Shops: Please contact the reception for the list of shops and opening hours. The next shopping mall is within 10 Minutes of walking.

 

Sightseeing, excursions: Székesfehérvár and its surroundings offer a wide range of programmes and excursions. Please contact our reception for further information.

 

Slippers: Slippers are provided on a complimentary basis. Please, contact the reception (dial: 1).

 

Smoking policy: Please note that Best Western Plus Lakeside Hotel is a dedicated non-smoking hotel for the comfort and health of our guests. Smoking is prohibited within the 5 meter area of the hotel entrance. Please smoke only in allocated areas.

 

Snacks & beverages: Snacks, cold and hot beverages are available 24 hours a day at our restaurant ’Grafit Bistro & Restaurantand Bar.

 

Stations (bus & train):  the main bus station of town is within 1 km from our hotel, the train station is 3,5 km away. The easiest way to get there is by taxi. Please check with our reception for further information.

 

Tap water: Please be advised that the tap water in our region is safe to drink.

 

Taxi reservations: Please contact the reception (dial 1).

 

Television: You can switch on the TV with the help of the remote control and choose any program from the menu. You will find the list of TV and radio by checking the QR code on TV.

 

Telephone: You can reach the reception desk by dialing 1. To reach an outside line you must first dial 0, for local calls 06 + area code + phone number.

The telephone in your room allows you to make direct local and international calls. The charges per unit, automatically charged to your hotel bill, are the following:

Local calls: 100.- HUF / Minute (cca. 0,4 Euro/ min) National calls: 200.- HUF / Minute (cca. 0,8 Euro/ min) International calls: 500.- HUF / Minute (cca. 2 Euro/ min) To reach another room please dial the room number.

Throw rug: Throw rug is provided on demand for your convenience. Please, contact our reception to have it placed by your bed.

 

Time:  The local time in Hungary is based on the Mid-European time (Greenwich Mean Time +1 hour). To find out the exact time, please contact our reception.

 

Tipping: The service charges in Hungary are not included in the prices of the hotels and restaurants – unless otherwise indicated. Should you feel that you received a very good service, of course a tip is welcome. As a general idea 10% of the total price is recommended.

Our prices at our restaurant and bar do include 15% service charge.

 

Umbrella: Umbrellas are complimentary to use and are available at the reception. Please do not forget to bring back your umbrellas after using, so other guests of our house may enjoy this service as well. There is a surcharge for returning damaged umbrellas.

 

Vase: Please contact the reception, in case you require require a flower vase.

 

Wake-up service: Please, kindly advise our reception about the time you wish to have the wake up call (dial 1).

 

WIFI, PC Terminal: HSIA is available in all rooms and in all areas of the hotel.
