However, we must also be aware of how much pollution is emitted by companies that do not prioritize environmental protection and the damage this causes in our fast-paced world. We are committed to radically reducing our ecological footprint. Together, we can do a lot to minimize our emissions while maintaining the highest level of guest experience.
Our goal is to meet our guests' needs in the most environmentally friendly way possible. To protect the environment, our hotel contributes through staff education, guest information, conscious use of energy and water, organized waste management and recycling processes, as well as purchasing eco-friendly products.
What we do to protect the environment:
- We collect and transport the waste generated during daily operations selectively.
- We use remanufactured toners, limit paper-based activities to a minimum, encourage our employees to reuse paper, and promote the purchase of recycled paper.
- Thanks to our energy investment carried out in 2024, we have minimized our energy consumption by installing a high-performance heat pump and 111 kW solar panels, reducing our emissions.
- We optimize the temperature of rooms and communal areas with the most advanced building management system.
- Our hotel does not use gas; we have a contract with the local district heating provider.
- Our employees receive training to ensure that environmental protection and an eco-conscious mindset become part of their daily lives.
- For cleaning our hotel rooms and communal areas, we only order cleaning products from certified eco-friendly suppliers and work exclusively with environmentally friendly materials.
- In the spirit of energy saving, we use a magnetic card system in our rooms. This means that electricity is available only when guests insert the key card received at the reception. When you leave and remove the card, the electricity is turned off, and any devices left running will be powered down. Of course, we have 24-hour power outlets to ensure that your electronic devices can be charged even when you are not in the room.

What you can do for the environment during your stay:

- For longer stays, we change bed linens according to standards, but if you do not require this and inform reception, we will offer a complimentary drink in our restaurant.
- To optimize room temperature, you can adjust it by +/- 3 degrees using our modern thermostats, as everyone has different preferences.
- Keeping the windows closed helps enhance the efficiency of air conditioning and heating, but if you choose to keep the windows open, the air conditioning will pause. This ensures that the energy used for cooling or heating serves its purpose.
- Traveling by car significantly burdens the environment and pollutes the air. If possible, consider using our bicycles or the local bus, which stops just near the hotel, instead of using a car or taxi. Our reception team can provide more information on bus schedules and the bike routes built throughout the region.
- To avoid food waste, take smaller portions from the buffet multiple times instead of piling up your plate. If possible, use a single plate for breakfast, reducing the number of dishes that need washing, which lowers water and detergent usage.
- We provide free, high-quality filtered water in our hotel rooms, avoiding the use of plastic bottles.
